Screen printing is ink being pressed through a mesh screen with a masked off design then heat set into a fabric. Almost all graphic t-shirts are screen printed and of the few additional methods to do a similar thing are less permanent.
A friend ordered customization of some work shirts he got and wanted the logo added on. As a waiter the shirts needed to be durable and not to peal or bead; screen printing allowed this.
